We have found an equation to transfer all of the data we collected, and used that information to convert it into joules. You can find all of the tables and graphs under the Results and Data page, and here I will briefly explain how we got our final values.

We’ve decided to research about how to make your own alcohol, and explain how a few packets of yeast, some sugar and water could easily make your own alcohol.

We first started off with thinking of a topic related to energy, and we went through three ideas, before we finally decided on the perfect one: Energy in alcohol! Our research question is, How does the amount of carbon atoms in an alcohol affect how much heat energy it releases? Our whole group is so excited for the day that we will be able to show you what we’ve been able to do.
